The Association would like to thank the Volleyball England Foundation for its assistance with applying to Sport England’s Return to Play Grant. This provides funding for volleyball clubs across Yorkshire to return successfully and safely to playing volleyball. 

The Association has worked with clubs to supply them with cleaning kits, nets, or balls for indoor and outdoor play. They have also provided electronic whistles, which will ensure additional safety for coaches and referees. With this support, an increasing number of young players can be safely included in the sessions. The funding has also provided equipment for clubs who are unable to access their normal venues until autumn due to the pandemic.
